Atravessando o tempo e espaço, uma história chegou do oriente ao ocidente, como o arroz, instalou-se entre nós perante os séculos, como o arroz, e agora é-nos tão familiar que já não recordamos o dia em que não a conhecíamos, como o arroz. Essa história é a história da mais famosa conta contos, griotte o menestrel que jamais existiu. Esta é a história de Xerazade e as mil e uma noites.

Crossing time and space, a story arrived from the East to the West, like rice, settling among us over the centuries, like rice, and now it is so familiar to us that we no longer remember the day when we did not know it, like rice. This story is the story of the most famous storyteller, the griot, the minstrel who never existed. This is the story of Scheherazade and the Thousand and One Nights.
“Mil e uma” é um espetáculo que conta um clássico da literatura desde um ponto de vista atual, usando marionetas construídas com elementos de cozinha e adaptando a história para todos os públicos. Um espetáculo divertido e diferente onde encontraremos os contos mais famosos das mil e uma noites como “Aladim e a Lâmpada Maravilhosa”, “Ali Babá e os Quarenta Ladrões”, e também outros menos conhecidos que surpreenderão e divertirão a miúdos e graúdos.

“Mil e Uma” is a show that tells a classic story from a modern perspective, using puppets made from kitchen items and adapting the story for all audiences. An entertaining and unique show where we will encounter the most famous tales from One Thousand and One Nights, such as “Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp,” “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves,” as well as other lesser-known stories that will surprise and entertain children and adults alike.
