Coreia é uma publicação fundada em 2019 de carácter experimental, crítico e discursivo a propósito das artes em geral, firmada numa relação umbilical com a dança. De tiragem semestral, o jornal pretende ser um fórum independente e internacionalista focado no discurso produzido pelas obras e pelos artistas, preocupado em divulgar formatos variados como partituras, manifestos, entrevistas, crónicas, ensaios, críticas e reflexões em língua portuguesa.

No Coreia #14, chegamos tarde e saímos cedo, com o Ricardo Valentim.. Encontramo-nos com Carlo Canún no Cine Savoy, no encontro de corpos que se convertem em texto e constroem as suas próprias narrativas. Movimento coreográfico inconsciente, voo de pássaros quotidiano aos olhos de Odile Duboc. Com Xueying Peng, um gesto de cooperação dá início a performance e o espaço passa a imaginação partilhada. O espaço é consequência, e Sarah Lewis reflete sobre um encontro deferido com o poder amargo da memória. Pensemos com as ferramentas de CATPC e Human Activities, evitemos armadilhas, repensemos origens, responsabilidades e futuros. Para aprendermos a cair aprendemos a confiar no chão, e com Catarina Câmara escolhemos o corpo e o movimento como instrumentos de relação com o mundo. Sepideh Khodarahmi sente-se pelo excesso, Itziar Okariz conhece pelo som da respiração e Marine Chesnais explora pela apneia. Somos um arquivo de gestos trazido por Marta Lopes Santos e, entre real e imaginado, uma construção narrativa vivida por Raphael Daibert. Sina Siberi traz-nos de volta à memória do corpo que também é referência do lugar. Não ignoramos a dor, dançamos a possibilidade de transformar, movendo-nos em conjunto, cantando pela liberdade. E quando não conseguimos, tentamos.

Published twice a year, the journal aims to be an independent and internationalist forum focused on the discourse produced by works and artists, concerned with disseminating various formats such as scores, manifestos, interviews, chronicles, essays, critiques, and reflections in Portuguese.

In Coreia #14, we arrived late and left early, with Ricardo Valentim. We met Carlo Canún at Cine Savoy, at the meeting of bodies that become text and construct their own narratives. Unconscious choreographic movement, the daily flight of birds in the eyes of Odile Duboc. With Xueying Peng, a gesture of cooperation begins the performance and the space becomes shared imagination. Let us think with the tools of CATPC and Human Activities, avoid pitfalls, rethink origins, responsibilities, and futures.
